DoorDash: Evergreen

Our Problem: The climate crisis has exploded over the last decade, with greenhouse gas emissions reaching record highs and counting.

The Ask: Get people to sign up for DashPass, DoorDash’s subscription service.

The Solution: People want to help tackle the climate crisis, but they don’t know where to start.

We took that insight and gave people a way to turn an activity they were already doing—ordering food via delivery service—into a tangible way to track and reduce their carbon footprint.

And with monetary incentives they could use towards their next meal, EverGreen is a win-win.

My first taste of an award-winning idea. I’ve been chasing it ever since.
